Joshua T. Riley

Mr. Riley began his legal career as a judicial law clerk to the Hon. Lorraine M. Augostini, J.S.C., in the Morris/Sussex Vicinage of the New Jersey Superior Court during the 2021–2022 term. Prior to joining McCormick & Priore, P.C., Mr. Riley worked at multiple civil litigation firms, focusing on commercial and employment litigation matters involving property owners, management companies, and service vendors. Mr. Riley’s practice now focuses on complex pre-litigation disputes, as well as first and third-party defense litigation. Mr. Riley earned his Juris Doctor from New York Law School in 2021, where he was a recipient of a merit-based Dean’s Scholarship and was named to the Dean’s List. He received his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science, with a concentration in Law and Society, from The College of New Jersey in 2018, graduating with honors. During his undergraduate studies, Mr. Riley served as a Senator for the School of Humanities and Social Sciences and was the captain of the Club Tennis Team.

Outside of the office, Mr. Riley enjoys staying active by playing tennis and skiing. He is also an avid football and baseball fan and enjoys following his favorite teams throughout the year.
